AutoFlight has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Whitesky Aviation covering 60 AutoFlight V2000EM Prosperity passenger electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for the Indonesian market.
Whitesky Aviation is an Indonesian aviation service provider, while AutoFlight develops Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and eVTOL aircraft. The partnership forms part of AutoFlight’s global commercialisation strategy, with initial applications planned for premium VIP air taxi services and potential expansion into broader transportation and mobility applications.
Under the partnership, Whitesky Aviation will contribute its aviation operations experience, local market knowledge and infrastructure capabilities. Its responsibilities will support vertiport development, operating procedures, safety systems, technical support and personnel readiness.
AutoFlight will provide its expertise in eVTOL aircraft development and Advanced Air Mobility technology as the companies work toward introducing the V2000EM Prosperity to the Indonesian market.
“For customers, the question is simple: does the journey become faster, more reliable, and more convenient? If the answer is yes, then the technology has real value,” said Denon Prawiraatmadja, Founder of Whitesky Group.
“Indonesia is an important market in AutoFlight’s global commercialization journey,” said Kellen Xie, Senior Vice President of AutoFlight. “Together with Whitesky Aviation, we look forward to developing practical eVTOL applications that address real transportation needs and support the growth of Advanced Air Mobility in Indonesia.”
The partnership further expands AutoFlight’s global activities and its focus on developing practical commercial applications for eVTOL technology.
