L3Harris Technologies recently demonstrated a range of interoperable, multi-domain capabilities during Project Convergence-Capstone 6 (PC-C6) at Fort Irwin, California.
During the exercise, L3Harris connected decision-makers with multi-domain sensors and effectors through unified networks designed to support rapid threat interdiction in complex and contested environments.
The company demonstrated several capabilities, including interoperable multi-domain assured communications, Link 16 integration on UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and the Deceptor modular electronic warfare payload.
“Our wide range of open system defense technologies have modern, high-volume manufacturing and resilient supply chains to support their rapid delivery into the hands of soldiers,” said Christopher Aebli, President, Communications & Spectrum Dominance, L3Harris.
Aebli said the capabilities demonstrated during Project Convergence are designed to meet future operational requirements while supporting the U.S. government’s investments in software-defined and open-system technologies.
L3Harris also partnered with ARX Robotics to demonstrate an integrated counter-unmanned aerial system capability using L3Harris’ CORVUS-RAVEN system.
The company is also continuing work in support of new U.S. Army requirements following its selection as a Next Generation Command and Control transport layer provider.
L3Harris has previously demonstrated its technologies during Ivy Mass, Lightning Surge and Operation Jailbreak. During these activities, the company’s Wraith waveform and WESCAM MX-Series electro-optical/infrared sensor systems were validated as “jailbroken.”
